The Making of Sonata

Cinematographer Tomasz Augustynek, PSC discusses his approach to the visual style of the Polish feature.

Written and directed by Bartosz Blaschke, the Polish feature Sonata is inspired by the true story of a deaf boy misdiagnosed with autism who discovers a passion and profound talent for music. For the film, cinematographer Tomasz Augustynek, PSC worked with Panavision Warsaw to put together an equipment parcel that included an Alexa Mini camera and Panavision T Series optics. In this video, Augustynek brings viewers into the process that helped define the film's visual style.
